Škoda Unveils the Interior of the New Peaq Electric SUV
Škoda has unveiled the first images of the interior of its new fully electric SUV, the Škoda Peaq, which will become the largest SUV in the brand's lineup.
The manufacturer is focusing on spaciousness, practicality, and modern digital technology. The new Peaq will accommodate seven passengers with a traditional 2+3+2 seating configuration, making it suitable for both large families and long-distance travel.
Spacious interior and modern technology
The interior of the new Škoda Peaq is centred around a vertically mounted infotainment display, complemented by a compact digital instrument cluster. At the same time, the company has retained physical controls, allowing drivers to quickly adjust the climate control, audio volume, and other frequently used functions. This approach reflects the brand's latest design philosophy, combining digital innovation with everyday practicality.
Particular attention has been paid to passenger comfort. The cabin features built-in magnetic wireless smartphone charging pads, while the interior is finished with durable, easy-to-clean materials designed for long-term use. According to Škoda, the new electric SUV sets a new benchmark for ergonomics, interior quality, and space utilisation.
Škoda's largest electric SUV
According to preliminary specifications, the Škoda Peaq will measure approximately 4.9 metres in length, 1.7 metres in height, and feature a wheelbase of 2,965 mm. These dimensions will make it the most spacious SUV ever produced by the Czech manufacturer.
The vehicle will also feature a fully digital 10-inch instrument cluster and a 13.6-inch vertical infotainment touchscreen with haptic feedback. Higher trim levels will offer an augmented reality head-up display, projecting navigation instructions and other key driving information directly onto the windscreen.
New digital key and expansion of the electric range
One of the key technological highlights will be the introduction of a digital mobile key. Owners will be able to unlock and start the vehicle using a smartphone or smartwatch without the need for a traditional key. The feature is particularly convenient for families or households where multiple drivers share the same vehicle.
Škoda continues to expand its electric vehicle lineup as part of its strategy to transition towards sustainable mobility. The Peaq will become the flagship model of the brand's electric range and will be built on the Volkswagen Group's latest platform for fully electric vehicles.
The model is expected to compete with large electric SUVs from other European manufacturers thanks to its spacious interior, advanced technology, and comprehensive suite of intelligent driver assistance systems.
