Maserati has unveiled an exclusive version of the GT2 Stradale Tribute to MC12 supercar, created as a one-off through the Fuoriserie customisation programme. The car was developed in close collaboration with a renowned collector from Taiwan, designers from Centro Stile and the brand's engineers in Modena. The new model is a modern reinterpretation of the legendary Maserati MC12 — the car that brought the Italian marque numerous victories in GT championships and remains one of the most iconic models in its history.

The car was handed over to its owner at Maserati's headquarters in Modena. In addition to receiving the exclusive supercar, the buyer visited the historic factory on Viale Ciro Menotti, explored the Emilia-Romagna region and toured the famous Umberto Panini Collection, which houses some of the rarest Maserati cars from different eras.

Exclusive design inspired by the legendary MC12

The GT2 Stradale Tribute to MC12 immediately stands out thanks to its distinctive exterior design. It is based on the signature Leggenda colour scheme, first used on a limited-edition MC20 in 2024. The body combines Matte Digital Mint and Nero Essenza, while bright Giallo Avia Pervia accents emphasise the car's racing character. Almost every detail has been individually customised. Design highlights include:

  1. glossy yellow Maserati logos;
  2. signature Trident emblems on the body pillars;
  3. exclusive lettering on the rear of the car;
  4. a carbon-fibre rear wing featuring the owner's unique signature;
  5. for the first time on the GT2 Stradale, all carbon-fibre aerodynamic elements feature a glossy finish.

The interior also features a sporty design, combining Alcantara, carbon fibre and contrasting yellow stitching. The racing seats are equipped with four-point harnesses, while a special Tribute to MC12 plaque, created exclusively for this car, highlights its one-of-a-kind character.

640 horsepower and 0–100 km/h in 2.8 seconds

Under the bonnet is Maserati's signature 3.0-litre Nettuno V6 engine producing 640 horsepower. Thanks to reduced weight, enhanced aerodynamics and technologies derived from motorsport, the car delivers impressive performance. Key specifications of the GT2 Stradale Tribute to MC12 include:

  1. power — 640 horsepower;
  2. engine — 3.0-litre Nettuno V6;
  3. 0–100 km/h acceleration — 2.8 seconds;
  4. top speed — more than 320 km/h.

According to the manufacturer, the GT2 Stradale is currently the most extreme road-legal Maserati in the brand's history.

Maserati focuses on personalisation and exclusivity

The Fuoriserie programme is becoming one of the key areas of Maserati's development. It allows customers to create virtually unique cars featuring bespoke exterior colours, exclusive interior finishes and personalised design solutions.

Projects like this strengthen the brand's position in the ultra-luxury sports car segment, where individuality is valued just as highly as technical performance. The creation of the GT2 Stradale Tribute to MC12 once again demonstrates Maserati's commitment to combining its rich racing heritage, modern technology and an exclusive approach to every customer.
