Top 10 novelty cars: selection from the world ranking

The main trend in the global car market is clear: manufacturers are trying to produce more cars with electric motors or to switch to electric motors only. The new products of 2023 speak for themselves. With the exception of a few models, our selection is almost exclusively electric. And that's a good thing! Because it's better for the environment.

Kia EV9

One of Kia's most expensive SUVs. It is expected to have a starting price of $50,000 when it goes on sale. Very large, the EV9 will be a real "monster" on the road - not only comfortable, but also fast. The GT version, for example, will be able to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 5 seconds.

The key feature of this large SUV is a fully electric motor with a range of 540 kilometres. Impressive! Not every manufacturer can achieve such figures. The Kia EV9's software can also be updated to add new options.

Mercedes-Benz EQG

A complete sensation, as the EQG will actually be an updated estate. Yes, a little more modern and for more money (the amount has not yet been mentioned), but it is simply impossible to confuse it with anyone else.

Interesting: The articulated car has been in production since 1979. It is one of the most "durable" cars in the world.

Needless to say, this "beast" is powered entirely by an electric motor, or rather 4 motors. One for each wheel. Inside, there will also be a lot of advanced electronics to ensure the comfort of both driver and passengers.

Tesla Cybertruck

Sceptics claim that the Cybertruck (Tesla's first SUV) will not appear before 2024, but optimists are waiting impatiently and hope that the premiere will take place this year. We have to say, all chances are there!

The funny thing is that the car will not only have a powerful electric motor, but also a futuristic design. Elon Musk thought and decided that it was necessary to shock the world not only with technical innovations, but also with something more understandable for the average person. That is why the release of the Tesla Cybertruck is eagerly awaited all over the world. Even those who have little interest in cars.

Volkswagen Tiguan

The Tiguan has been in production since 2007, and during this time has managed to come out in 2 generations and a total of 5 restylings. Of course, the appearance of the SUV (and the all-terrain model is generally a seven-seater) has changed a lot over the years, as has its interior.

For example, the 2023 Tiguan will switch to a hybrid engine that can be recharged from a power socket. Inside, however, the car will feel more like a real electric car: all thanks to a huge control display. It is worth noting that changes will be made to the SUV's appearance - it will become more streamlined and gain "extra" sleek lines.

Toyota Grand Highlander

Toyota has decided to release a more spacious version of the Highlander, and it has succeeded perfectly. The car is about 6% larger than its predecessor. The main feature of the SUV is, of course, the ability to seat up to 8 people in the cabin (there are also 7-seater versions).

Interestingly, Toyota is in no hurry to move to the production of electric cars: so the Grand Highlander will be presented on two types of engines - internal combustion and hybrid system. At the same time, both versions will be available with front and four-wheel drive.

Honda CR-V

The Honda CR-V has been in production since 1995. During this time, it has managed to become a popular car in various countries, and many drivers do not "get out" of it for decades, but simply move on to newer versions. No wonder: reliability combined with thoughtfulness, comfort and relative affordability.

Like Toyota, Honda is in no hurry to make its cars fully electric. Therefore, the 2023 CR-V will be available in both petrol and hybrid versions. The design will change the grille, lights and headlights, while the cabin will get a handy display and more comfortable seats.

Mercedes-Benz CLE

The release date of the new Mercedes has not yet been announced, but it is already clear what the CLE class will be: a four-seater car with the external appearance of a conventional coupé. In other words, the family car will be placed in the "shell" of a sports car.

The Mercedes-Benz CLE will be a full-fledged replacement for the C and E classes, and its technical characteristics are impressive: it is expected that the tests will take place on the Nürburgring track, which means that the car will be able to develop a very high speed. What's inside the cabin is still a secret, but if the model is released in 2023, we won't have long to wait.

BMW i5

But BMW is keeping up with the times and is ready to present a fully "electric" version of the world's most popular 5 Series model - the twin brother i5. This is a spacious, beautiful and in every way luxurious car with an ecological engine. What more do you need to call it great?

Interestingly, the car is close to the iX electric crossover in terms of technical characteristics: the range will be quite impressive and recharging will be quite fast. No release date or exact specifications have yet been announced, but it is clear that BMW is ready to unveil this novelty to the general public.

Porsche Macan EV

The new generation Porsche Macan will get an updated design and an electric motor. The power reserve will be enough for 700 kilometres! This is not surprising, however, given that we are talking about a luxury car. Porsche will also be presenting two variants: four-wheel drive and rear-wheel drive.

Both the saloon and the "control cabin" will be equipped with the latest electronic innovations, including two touch screens. By the way, the engine will be charged as quickly as possible - 80 per cent in less than half an hour.

Volkswagen ID.7

Volkswagen ID.7 decided to "enlarge" the classic Passat and created a five-door hatchback with quite good dimensions. The representative car has a nice, modern design and, incidentally, a panoramic roof that can change the level of transparency.

It is worth noting that the car will first be launched in China and then it will "come" to Europe and the United States. It is expected that the main demand for the Volkswagen ID.7 will come from the Chinese. Whether it is so - we will be able to find out in the summer of 2023.
