A car in a coupe body is always more compact, more dynamic, lighter, and, of course, cheaper. Therefore, in many countries (especially in countries with large cities) coupes are becoming more and more popular. We suggest you get acquainted with the most famous and favorite two-door cars, which have gained fame if not all over the world, then in several continents for sure.

1. Lamborghini Gallardo

We should start, perhaps, with the handsome "Italian" Lamborghini Gallardo. The world first saw Gallardo in 2003. The bold, recognizable design immediately made the car a favorite around the world.

Like all sports cars, the Lamborghini Gallardo, except for the amazing external features, has impressive specifications: the car speeds up to 319 km/h ( latest versions) and it can reach 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds. Nowadays Gallardo is not produced - it was taken out of production in 2013 - and the car has acquired additional value because of this.

2. Chevrolet Camaro

It would be a crime not to mention this legend. The Chevrolet Camaro has been in production since 1966 - that is over half a century! Throughout that time, it has remained recognizable and popular. It became one of the first muscle cars, taking its place among the line of bold, bright, and stylish cars.

There were 6 generations, and the production of new models continues. Of course, the latest cars look more modern and have excellent technical parameters - both engine power and speed. The aggressive "masculine" design and two doors remain unchanged.

3. Cadillac CTS Coupe

Cadillac presented the luxury segment in the range of CTS models. There is a 4-door sedan and even a sporty version. But we would like to pay special attention to Cadillac CTS Coupe: a luxurious, and comfortable version, which is a rarity in the lineup of its "cousins".

The series was produced from 2003 to 2013, and the production of the coupe was extended until 2015. However, nowadays, you can only buy previously-owned Cadillac CTS Coupe.

4. Aston Martin DB9

Even a person far from the automotive world, once seeing Aston Martin, will be able to immediately recognize it. Impressive design and unique style make Aston Martin so cool and memorable.

The DB9 model (produced since 2004) is familiar to many thanks to the "Need For Speed” games series. Indeed, the car is characterized by high speed and power. Unfortunately, the production was discontinued in 2016.

5. Audi TT

One of the most famous compact coupes, which has been produced since 1998 and remians inm production till now! Audi TT combines seemingly incongruous things - in both design and performance.

It would seem that Audi is quite representative cars, and TT models confirm it with their comfort. But at the same time externally they are "distant relatives" of sports cars: not without reason they can be met in the same NFS! The car is small, but also very comfortable; it is ideal for city trips, but it is also good for races... So, it is easy to understand the crazy popularity of Audi TT!

6. BMW M4

Another option for combining a sports car with an executive class is the BMW coupe. Two-door versions look, at first glance, very urban and peaceful - but at the same time not deprived of its signature style.

BMW M4s are the most comfortable cars, suitable for both - everyday life and for showing off. The powerful engine, excellent grip and streamlined bodywork allow the driver to enjoy speed and a high level of safety.

7. Jeep Wrangler

It would be strange in this rating not to touch on the topic of two-door SUVs. They are worthy of a separate selection, but we will focus on a couple of the brightest representatives. The first of them is Jeep Wrangler, quite popular since its "birth", that is, since 1986.

Since its appearance, it had several relaunches, which significantly changed the appearance of the car. However, more than half of them are two-door versions, and four-door versions acted more as an additional release. Anyway, the Wrangler always remained a powerful and at the same time compact SUV, capable of conquering almost any surface.

8. Land Rover Defender 90

It is more correct to call Land Rover Defender 90 not two-door, but three-door. After all, it is an all-terrain vehicle, though noticeably shortened. It looks massive and very impressive, emphasizing the technical characteristics.

Land Rover Defender in different variations has been produced since 1983. Later, the manufacturers took a break, but in 2019 at the Frankfurt Motor Show a new modification was shown to the public. Whether there will be a continuation remains unknown.

9. Subaru BRZ

Vivacious "Japanese", which is loved by many for its external sporty simplicity, power, and at the same time economy. Such a car feels great both in the city and on the highway.

The model has been produced since 2011 to this day. Two manufacturers work on it at once: Subaru and Toyota. It is quite possible that thanks to cooperation, the companies were able to combine the best into a car of this class.

10. Kia Cerato Koup.

A stylish, inexpensive Korean car that will suit both one person and a small family. Kia Cerato in the coupe variation is an excellent solution to achieve even more compactness and lightness, which is so important for residents of metropolitan areas.

Today, the Kia Cerato Coupe is produced mainly by automatic transmission, although there is also a manual box. However, the demand for it is small: after all, the car belongs to the compact class, which is ideal for urban use.
