If you still think that the fashion for electric cars will eventually pass and carmakers will produce them in smaller quantities, you probably don't follow the news and figures. And they confirm - the electric car market is growing rapidly. The only factor holding it back is the underdeveloped infrastructure of charging stations. However, the situation is gradually changing for the better, in major cities around the world they are already at most petrol stations.

Electric cars have come a long way since their introduction to the market. Today they have a number of advantages over traditional cars with internal combustion engines. Electric cars are more environmentally friendly, they do not need to be fuelled as they run on electric traction. Another feature of electric cars is that the maximum torque of their powertrains is available immediately. Thanks to this, electric cars have a faster acceleration from the ground compared to traditional cars.

The high demand for electric cars is pushing carmakers to explore this market more actively in order to take a leading position in it. Here are the top 10 best electric cars today.
