An electric motor is not only economical but also eco-friendly. The whole world is gradually transitioning to hybrid cars, and in some countries, electric cars are gaining popularity. Of course, the latter can have a high price, plus charging stations are not available everywhere. Nevertheless, progress does not stand still, and people are increasingly abandoning gasoline or gas engines.

Ford Mustang Mach-E

The idea of transforming the sports Mustang into a crossover, and even with electric drive, was quite bold. Nevertheless, Ford's risk paid off completely: the car received the warmest reviews and was awarded first place in the electric car ranking by Consumer Reports.

The Mustang Mach-E is available in three trim levels (Select, Premium, and California Route 1) and with two drive variations: rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive. All models reach speeds of up to 180 km/h and can travel up to 505 km without recharging. The price is approximately $65,000.

Tesla Model S Plaid

Tesla has a whole lineup of electric cars, and among them, it's hard to highlight the best model: each one is good in its own way. Nevertheless, the Model S Plaid should be noted in our ranking. In terms of its technical characteristics, it is close to a supercar, as with a total power of three motors of 1000 hp, it reaches speeds of up to 320 km/h, and accelerates to a hundred in about 2 seconds.

The Tesla Model S Plaid has all the characteristics to be not only fast but also a comfortable means of transportation. Due to its excellent finish, the price of the car starts from $100,000, and this is far from the limit.

Audi E-TRON GT

A practical and beautiful sedan with the exterior of an electric car. According to the 2022 World Car of the Year rating, it has been recognized as a world-class car, which allows it to be classified as both fast and comfortable electric cars. It is perfect for both daily use and high-speed driving.

In the sports version, the engine has 637 hp and can accelerate to 250 km/h. The range is 472 km, which is generally considered an average indicator, but this is perhaps the only drawback of the car. The maximum price for a full set is $164,000.

Mercedes-Benz EQS

Mercedes constantly competes with BMW, but this time it won the race. The EQS crossover was recognized as the most luxurious electric car in 2022. Which is not surprising at all: spacious and comfortable, it has impressive technical characteristics and is ideal as a family car.

The engine power of over 650 hp provides noticeable speed (210 km/h) and fast acceleration (up to a hundred in 3.8 s). The luxury class interior will provide comfort for the whole family. The price starts at about 240,000 euros.

Nissan Ariya

The 2021 novelty from Nissan managed to win the love of buyers and receive positive reviews from experts. Thus, the electric car was awarded the Auto Express New Car Awards 2022 for its characteristics and, of course, excellent design.

Despite its large appearance, the Ariya is actually very maneuverable and convenient for the driver. BMW iX

Powerful and stylish, the BMW iX is considered a worthy competitor to electric cars from Mercedes-Benz. However, the difference between the cars is so great that comparing them makes no sense. The word "BMW" speaks for itself: it's style, power, and boldness on the road.

The iX3 crossover is spacious and has different interior trim options: from premium to luxury. Despite its size, it has good maneuverability, and the 500 hp engine reaches speeds of up to 180 km/h. The electric car can tackle some types of off-road terrain, which will appeal to nature enthusiasts. The price starts from 68,000 euros.

At the moment, the car is in the concept stage, and its exact specifications are not disclosed. However, you can already take a look at the design.

Nevertheless, the Hyundai Elantra is one of those that have been recognized as truly convenient for urban environments and everyday life.

Released in 2021, this hybrid made a lot of noise: after all, it was the world's only car that combined an electric motor and a gas engine.
